The artwork of John J Audubon and his Birds of America illustrations
The Princeton Essex Edition is named for the paper on which it is printed, Essex #10. This is considered to be the finest art paper made in America, and it is made in Monadnock, New Hampshire. The entire edition is comprised of five images, all rendered in a “half size”. The Essex Edition is the perfect solution for the collector who does not have the wall space for the larger Audubon works, or to decorate a smaller space. These images work very well together, either in pairs, or as a single support piece to coordinate with a larger Audubon collection. The Essex Edition are color lithographs, and were printed in editions limited to 2500.
